Is there a hs affiliation?

No. All HS athletes in Southeast MN are welcome and encouraged. Wrestlers only compete in HS events during MSHSL season. This is accessory training meant to enhance their experience. HS obligations and training ALWAYS take priority.

How do I sign up?

Sign up forms are at all practices. There is a waiver and a form that asks information about the athlete and contact information for parents.

Am i obligated to pay the first practice?

No. Our stance is that the first practice that an athlete attends is free. This allows them to see if it is the right fit for their training. If they choose to continue, they are expected to pay Club Dues or Drop-In Fees.

How about insurance?

We ask that all athletes are covered with a USA Athlete card that can be purchased on TheMat.com. Once there, click on membership and follow the directions. This insures wrestlers at our practices. Our club and coaches are certified and insured by USA Club Charter and USA Coach cards.

How do I pay Club Dues?

If choosing to pay club dues for that season (varies per session, *$100 for each additional family member), families may pay in cash or check made out to Cody Buchanan. Online pay is coming soon!

How do I know what’s happening at practice?

We don’t encourage parents in the room, as it takes space and leads to potential safety issues. However, Cody is always open to communication, and is very active in the wrestling community. If something should happen during practice, Cody will reach out and make sure things are taken care of with the contact information from the sign-up form.
